Former Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the European Union and former member of the Council of State. He was previously Director-General for European Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Director of Metropool International Art Projects and formerly General Director of Felix Meritis. She is a member of the European House for Culture.

Caroline de Gruyter

Europe correspondent and columnist for NRC, based in Brussels, and a contributor to Foreign Policy and EUobserver. She is a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations.

Sabine Gimbrère

Director of the International Office of the City of Amsterdam, positioning the city internationally across economic, social and cultural affairs. She advises the Mayor and deputy mayors on international matters.

Erik Jones

Director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute, Florence. He is Professor of European Studies and International Political Economy.

Jean-Pierre Kempeneers

Former Ambassador and National Coordinator for International Positions at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ben Knapen

Former Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs and currently the Netherlands' Special Envoy for the Einstein Telescope. He was earlier a foreign correspondent and editor-in-chief of NRC Handelsblad.

Brigid Laffan

Scholar of European politics and former Director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute. She was previously Professor of European Politics and Director of the European Institute at University College Dublin.

Monika Sie Dhian Ho

Senior Fellow at the Clingendael Institute and its General Director from 2016 to 2026. She was previously Director of the Wiardi Beckman Foundation.

Jonathan Zeitlin

Founding Director of ACES and Professor of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Amsterdam.
