ACES affiliate member and UvA’s full professor of Social Security and Labour Relations, Maarten Keune, authored The EuSocialCit Horizon2020 project’s flagship report titled "The State of European Social Rights and European Social Citizenship in the EU".

The EuSocialCit Horizon2020 project has recently published its two flagship reports. One, titled "The State of European Social Rights and European Social Citizenship in the EU," has been edited by EuSocialCit Principal Investigator Maarten Keune (UvA).

This report consolidates the project's theoretical, conceptual, and empirical findings. It presents and applies a new concept of social rights based on power resources, examines problems with access to social rights, discusses successes and failures in the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights, and presents the views of EU citizens on EU social rights.

Future of Social Citizenship

The second report, edited by Maurizio Ferrera (University of Milan), is titled "The Future of Social Citizenship in the EU." It discusses priorities for the further development of EU social citizenship and the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR).
