Small Scale Research Support

Research support can be requested to advance research related to one of ACES’s 5 Research Themes.

• Deadline: May 3^rd, 2024
• Budget: up to € 2500
• Eligibility: all current ACES affiliates employed at the University of Amsterdam (including PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers)

Academic Conferences and Workshops

Academic conferences/workshops are (usually one-day) events where a topic with a distinct European dimension is addressed. The event should produce tangible outcomes, such as a proposal for a special issue of a journal, or an edited book. Conferences and workshops more targeted to public engagement and dissemination should make this aspect of the event clear in the application.

• Deadline: May 3^rd, 2024
• Budget: up to € 5000
• Eligibility: all current ACES affiliates employed at the University of Amsterdam (including PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers)
