International Relations community

The 10th European Workshops in International Studies will be hosted with the added support of the Amsterdam Center of European Studies. The European Workshops in International Studies (EWIS), launched by the EISA in 2013, have fast established themselves as a spirited place for the European IR community to engage in sustained, in-depth discussion with a diverse range of peers from various institutions, countries, disciplines and career stages. This year's theme, "Are we doomed? Rethinking War and Peace in World Politics" aims to foster insightful discussions among members of a diverse IR community.

ACES

ACES has been involved in organizing the workshop's logistical aspects on the UvA campus. In an effort to encourage broader participation, the ACES has also established a special fund dedicated to providing accommodation in Amsterdam for five successful applicants of the workshop. This initiative aims to ensure that talented individuals have the opportunity to attend and contribute to the vibrant discussions and fruitful exchanges that EWIS has become renowned for.
