ACES funding calls 2023 now open

ACES are delighted to announce that our funding calls are now open for ACES affiliates. Each year, ACES provides a number of funding opportunities for its affiliates to support their research, as well as organizing academic and public events and to support seed funding applications.
As part of its Activity Plan 2023, ACES welcomes proposals for the following:
Research support
Research support can be requested for one of the following objectives:
- To prepare an application for an ERC, NWO and other major individual grant: a Seed Grant
- To advance research related to one of ACES’s 5 Research Themes: a Thematic Research Grant
Deadline: March 1st, 2023
Academic conferences and workshops
- Academic conferences/workshops are (usually one-day) events where a topic with a distinct European dimension is addressed. A conference should aim to produce tangible outcomes, such as a proposal for a special issue of a journal or an edited book
Deadline: February 20, 2023
Funding PhD candidates and postdocs
- Funds are available for direct research-related costs (e.g. paper presentation at a conference, transcriptions of interviews, assistance for fieldwork, etc.) for PhD candidates and postdocs affiliated to ACES
Deadline: February 20, 2023
