Lea Becker.

Lea Becker (Research Associate and Doctoral Candidate, Research Institute for Sustainability, Potsdam) will introduce her transdisciplinary research approach, engaging with the methodological self-understanding of political theorists committed to democracy and sustainability. Tessa Trapp and Miriam Heipertz, PhD researchers at the Law Faculty, will share their respective approaches — narrative analysis, and materialist genealogy at the intersection of law and political economy.

Following these presentations, participants are invited to an open workshop discussion on what academia requires in times of increasing complexity and climatic urgency, and which methodological frameworks are best equipped to address the challenges ahead.
