  • About

Tabitha is a junior lecturer/researcher at the departement of Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Amsterdam.

She teaches Constitutional (Fundamental Rights) and Administrative law courses alternately and publishes in this field mainly on administrative law penalties (bestuurlijke boetes).

In 2019 Tabitha was awarded the first Lalive Merryman Fellowship in art and cultural heritage law on the basis of this article.

For purposes of the PhD research, she has been a visting PhD at the Universität Wien. Via the LERU-exchange programme, she was selected as visting PhD at the Université de Genève in March 2019. In October and November 2019 Tabitha was a research fellow at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University London (QMUL). She has furthermore worked as a consulting expert in restitution issues abroad and lectures on this subject both in the Netherlands as well as abroad.
