In November and December 2021 Dr. Dimitris Bouris (UvA) will organise the 6th Practitioners Engagement Series in cooperation with the EUMENIA network. This year’s series will engage with a number of topical issues and will also involve several high-level officials, policy-makers, academics and practitioners. The series opens with an event on EU-Ukraine relations. Ms Katarína Mathernová (Deputy Director General, EU Support Group for Ukraine, European Commission) will give an overview of the broader political framework and cooperation between the EU and Ukraine while Mr. Antti Hartikainen (Head of EUAM Ukraine) will talk about the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) which was launched in 2014 in the aftermath of the events of the Euromaidan “Revolution of Dignity”.
The series continues with an event focusing on the EU’s role in peacebuilding.
